Hi! My name is Greg Wilkinson. Originally a software engineer, I soon realized the errors of my ways and turned to interface design. I have been creating clean, smart & effective interfaces for over 10 years now.

I'm a South African transplant who is living in beautiful San Diego, California. My wife, Madeleine, and I moved here in 2001 because the company I worked for offered me a 3 year 'contract'. The contract period kept getting extended and in 2005 won the Green Card lottery. We haven't looked back since and now have 2 beautiful children that keep us young and on our toes.

I now work for Hewlett-Packard as a Senior UI Designer. I was lucky enough to end up in the Research and Development (R&D) lab for the large format media group. Basically this means I get to play around with cool technologies and design interfaces for them. I really enjoy the creative side of designing interfaces and can be quite obsessive about every pixel, but I'm equally fascinated how people interact with software and how to make the whole experience a pleasant one.
